  • Based on Afghanistan’s criminal laws and international regulations: information on protective laws for victims of violence, legal prosecution procedures, and access to responsible institutions supporting victims, with a focus on women's and children's rights

Legal Consultation in the Asylum and Immigration Process
  • Guidance on fundamental individual rights, how to file complaints with human rights institutions, and legal methods for obtaining justice.

  • Legal advice regarding civil lawsuits ongoing in Afghanistan and referral to a defense attorney

  • Legal consultation on human rights and access to justice

  • Mediation and legal advice on marriage, divorce, child custody, and other family-related matters based on Afghanistan’s civil laws and the host country’s standards (without assuming the role of an attorney)

AWA Legal and Social Advisory Hub  offers advisory services only and does not provide legal services or act as an advocate in legal matters. All consultations are conducted for guidance and awareness purposes, and if necessary individuals are referred to specialist lawyers and reputable legal institutions.

  • Advice for Reducing Stress, Anxiety, and Depression Due to Migration

  • Guidance on adapting to new circumstances and coping with psychological challenges. These consultations are conducted in collaboration with specialized Farsi-speaking psychologists.

  • Empowerment of Women and Girls for Economic Independence

  • Training in life skills, boosting self-confidence, and practical strategies for financial management, entrepreneurship, and professional skills.

  • Specialized Advice for Government Agencies, Social Workers, and Support Organizations

  • Guidance on the appropriate approach to Afghan women who are victims of violence and constructive interaction with men from migrant families. These guidelines take cultural differences into account and help reduce resistance to receiving assistance while increasing the effectiveness of social support.

  • Social and Psychological Support for Online Harassment

  • Training in stress management and coping with social pressure due to threats in the digital space. Establishing support groups for women active on social media who are targeted by harassment.

  • Information on Social and Government Support

  • Details on access to social services, government support programs, and facilities available to migrants.

  • Guidance and Advice for Cultural and Social Integration

  • Effective participation in social programs, strengthening connections between migrants and the host community, and familiarization with new culture and legislation.
