About us

AWA

The name “AWA” stands for: Advocacy, Women Unity, Action. These core values form the pillars of our work. The name has a profound meaning that is understood and respected in both Dutch and Farsi. It reflects our commitment to advocacy, solidarity among women and taking action to promote equality and justice. But we do more. We support and advise all people trading between the EU and Afghanistan, Iran, Pakistan and Turkey. In addition, we assist Persian/Farsi/Dari speaking people who have legal questions or need help with authorities.
